Radiologic Technology Disciplinary Action-Counseling Report

Students are required to follow all the conduct expectations of the clinical site as well as the Community Standards at the college.

The clinical preceptor or radiology faculty can initiate a disciplinary action/counseling report if at any time a student violates these conduct expectations or Community Standards. The report will be kept in the student's master clinical folder. The result of a report may range from verbal counseling (with the program director) to dismissal from the program depending on the severity of the violation and the number of times it has occurred.

The fourth reported violation of the same expectation/standard will result in an automatic dismissal from the program.

Students seeking re-admission to the program must speak with the program director. Re-admission to the program will not be guaranteed. Students can be re-admitted only once. It should, however, be noted that all the relevant documentation related to the violations will be maintained in the student's master clinical folder.
