Academic Forgiveness Policy
Students may apply for academic forgiveness under the following provisions:
- Students qualify for academic forgiveness after a minimum 4-year absence from MCLA.
- Students may request academic forgiveness once.
- Students must submit an application and essay that states their case for academic forgiveness to Academic Affairs.
- Only grades received prior to re-enrollment qualify for grade forgiveness.
- If approved, all grades remain on the transcript. Grades of "D+" and below are excluded from the GPA and will not be counted in credits toward graduation, including core, major, and minor requirements.
- Once granted, it is irrevocable.
