Behavior Analysis Minor (For Non-Psychology Majors) (BANL)
The Behavior Analysis Minor prepares students for careers and graduate study in behavior analysis, an evidence-based field with applications in education, research, human services, behavioral pharmacology, health, behavioral economics, and organizational behavior management. Students also have the opportunity to complete a portion of the concentration requirements through the MCLA–New England Center for Children cooperative program.
Students graduating with a concentration in Behavior Analysis Concentration (For Non-Psychology Majors) are able to:
- Apply the concepts and principles of behavior analysis;
- Demonstrate competence in interpreting, designing, and conducting single-case experimental designs;
- Design and interpret functional behavioral assessments;
- Demonstrate competence in the application of behavior-change procedures;
- Apply ethical standards relevant to professional behavior analysts.
