Theatre Minor (THEA)
The Theatre minor emphasizes experimentation and collaboration for students majoring outside of the program. It provides a general introduction to the field through foundational courses and students then choose electives tailored to their desired theatre-making or interdisciplinary focus.
Students graduating with a minor in Theatre will be able to demonstrate:
- knowledge of theatrical traditions and theories in their respective historical contexts, including the ability to analyze, interpret, and critique theatre texts and performance practices;
- a broad-based skillset in several facets of performance and production;
- an understand the necessary practices in the theatre industry that translate to dynamic professional careers.
