English Minor

The English Minor invites students majoring outside of English to pursue a passion for literature, to augment their current field of study, and to join a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of readers, scholars and critics. Students in the minor will have the opportunity to explore the relationship between culture and literary production in courses that are influenced and inspired by critical lenses such as new historicism, gender studies, queer theory, performance studies, Black studies, ethnic studies, postcolonial theory and more.
